Post-High School Experience with EnCORE Academy

CORE Community School introduces EnCORE Academy, a program designed to support students with diverse learning and social-emotional needs as they transition to life after high school.

The mission of EnCORE Academy is to enhance access and provide comprehensive support for students in both college and vocational tracks.

Our two tracks are:

• College Track: Students enroll part-time at Gwinnett Technical College, taking up to three college courses per semester. They receive personalized academic tutoring, small group support, social engagement opportunities, and dedicated mentoring to guide them through their college experience.

• Vocational Track: Students go through an in-depth career assessment and explore a variety of vocational options. With job coaching, mentoring, and practical skill-building, they prepare to enter the workforce as confident, independent young adults.
