Benefits of Advanced Placement Courses

Through participation in AP courses, students will:

• Build the skills needed to earn a qualifying AP Exam score of 3 or higher. 
• Develop independent thinkers who can analyze information and draw evidence-based conclusions.
• Strengthen key academic skills such as time management, organization, problem-solving, and critical thinking. 

Summer Assignment Important Dates

All AP students will complete a summer assignment to prepare for AP-level instruction.   

• Start Date: May 26, 2026 

• Submission Deadline: August 3, 2026 (First Day of School) 

• Grade Posting Date: August 28, 2026
